For Those of you who are Hurting

Lyrics to "By Way Of Sorrow"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AreAA-LT6bY

You've been taken by the wind,
You have known the kiss of sorrow,
Doors that would not take you in,
Outcast and a stranger.

You have come by way of sorrow, you have come by way of tears,
But you'll reach the destiny meant to find you all these years,
Meant to find you all these years.

You have drunk a bitter wine with none to be your comfort,
You who once were left behind will be welcome at Love's table.

You have come by way of sorrow, you have take a long way home,
But the Love that waits for you will someday come to know,
You will one day come to know.

All the nights that joy has slept will awake to days of laughter,
Gone the tears that you have wept,
You'll dance in freedom ever after.

You have come by way of sorrow, you've come over a stony ground,
But when Love calls out your name, you will lay your burden down,
You will lay your burden down.

You have come by way of sorrow, you have come by way of tears,
But you'll reach the destiny meant to find you all these years,
Meant to find you all these years

Inky Fields

"In 1996, scientists took a huge risk when they pointed the Hubble telescope to an inky field that they believed to be void of stars and planets. As images from Hubble are in constant demand, the worry was that devoting so much time to a black space would prove futile. Once the phontons finally registered, though, that leap of faith proved fruitful; light from over three thousand galaxies illuminated the image. A few years and missions later, Hubble's glimpses into what is known as the Deep Field have revealed that we are just one tiny part of a vast system comprising 100 billion galaxies."

Like the Hubble scientists, we take "huge risks" when we dare to enter our Deep Fields not knowing if our futures are "inky fields, void of stars and planets".

Let us take heart when it is our time to point our telescope towards our inky fields; let us remember that hidden galaxies await us - lights hidden in darkness. We can trust Life to hold us when we can't hold ourselves. The Silence we encounter while waiting is not our enemy.
